My Son Thinks He Can Talk To Aliens With Our Satellite System?

When I first talked about satellite TV, my son, Tyler, thought it was kind of funny. He pictured little TV sets circling the earth. He asked me if the aliens watched it.

I explained to him it was just a new way of getting our TV shows. Instead of the shows coming through the wall in a cable, they would beam in from a satellite dish on the roof. He still thought this was kind of funny. In his imagination, he saw a giant dinner plate up there.

But he could see that nice guys who came to put our Satellite dish up weren't aliens at all. Tyler told me that they were fast and smart. He thought I would have fallen off the roof if I tried the same thing. Then we had satellite TV up and running

Now, everyone is happy. Our satellite TV is available in everyone's room so there’s no bickering over who gets to watch what. I can watch the sports channels in my den. My wife, Lonny, has all her soaps in her office (which she watches while she is working). And Tyler has all the kid's programs, nature, and science shows as well as his Sci-fi through the dish on the roof.

Lonnie and I are really happy with the money we save with Satellite TV ! Tyler says he thinks the Satellite dish looks cool there on the roof but…the other day I caught him trying to talk to aliens with it!
