Compare The PocketDish to iPod
The PocketDISH™ 4-inch model (
other models also available) compares favorably to the iPod, with a few significant differences. The iPod is merely a media storage and playback device holding 30gigs of data, the PocketDISH™ offers much more. Where the iPod has a 2.5” screen, the PocketDISH™ offers a brilliant 2.2", 4” or 7" screen. The PocketDISH™ also offers more than 10 times the photo storage space. With the iPod, video content costs extra. The PocketDISH™ features not only video content for free, but also offers up to 30 hours of DISH Network programming.
PocketDISH™ also features high-speed content transfer from select DVRs and also records video from other sources. The iPod only accepts video transfers from Macs or PCs. Plus there is not additional software to maintain. The iPod requires that the user keep iTunes in order to download and organize its media.
